ICC Opens Ticket Sales for Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 with Prices Starting at ₹100

The International Cricket Council has announced the opening of ticket sales for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with tickets set to go on sale later today. According to the ICC, ticket sales will officially begin at 6:15 pm Pakistan Standard Time.

In a statement, the ICC said the first phase of ticket sales will feature historically low-priced tickets aimed at making the tournament more accessible to fans. Sales will begin at 6:45 pm IST, with prices starting at ₹100, approximately $1.11, at selected venues in India, while tickets in Sri Lanka will start at LKR 1,000, around $3.26. The ICC confirmed that Phase I ticket prices in India will begin at ₹100, while Phase I prices in Sri Lanka will start from LKR 1,000.

ICC Chief Executive Officer Sanjog Gupta said the low pricing reflects the organisation’s commitment to prioritising fans and expanding access to world-class cricket. He described Phase I of ticket sales as a key milestone in delivering what the ICC aims to make its most accessible and globally inclusive event to date. He added that the vision for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is to ensure that every fan, regardless of background, location, or financial capacity, has the opportunity to experience top-level international cricket inside the stadium.

The ICC has not yet released detailed information regarding ticket categories, seating options, or the full pricing structure, stating that further details will be announced in due course.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be the 10th edition of the tournament and will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The competition is scheduled to take place from February 7 to March 8 next year and will feature 20 teams divided into four groups of five. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eight stage of the tournament.

The tournament opener is set to be played between Pakistan and the Netherlands, while hosts and defending champions India will face the United States later the same day in Mumbai, marking the start of another highly anticipated global cricket event.
