Lenovo has officially introduced its AI Glasses V1 in China, with sales scheduled to begin on November 9. Priced at around $562, the smart wearable integrates advanced AI features into a lightweight and compact form, offering an enhanced hands-free experience for productivity, communication, and entertainment. Weighing only 38 grams, the Lenovo AI Glasses V1 are designed for extended comfort. The device uses a resin diffraction light waveguide display capable of reaching up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. With 1.8mm-thick lenses and a 15×11mm eye box range, the display maintains stable visuals even when the user shifts slightly. The ergonomic frame reduces pressure on the nose and ears, ensuring long-term wearability. Lenovo has incorporated its Tianxi intelligent assistant to power the AI features of the device. Dual microphones and stereo speakers support voice commands, hands-free calls, and audio playback. The glasses enable real-time translation with bilingual voice and text output displayed directly in the user’s field of view, functioning like an on-the-go interpreter. A teleprompter feature assists presenters and content creators by displaying scripts or notes seamlessly. When paired with Lenovo’s smart ring accessory, users can navigate slides or control on-screen content without diverting their gaze. Touch-sensitive controls built into the temple arms allow users to manage calls, notifications, and display information effortlessly. The device also includes AI-based navigation that provides real-time visual and audio guidance, currently compatible only with Android devices. Users can switch between monocular and binocular display modes depending on their preference. Battery performance varies with usage. In teleprompter mode, the glasses can run for up to four hours, while translation mode provides between eight to ten hours of operation. At full brightness and volume, the device lasts about 2.6 hours on a single charge. It supports fast charging, reaching full capacity in roughly 40 minutes, and offers up to 250 hours of standby time. Connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring stable wireless performance. With the AI Glasses V1, Lenovo aims to blend functionality, portability, and innovation, positioning the device as a practical tool for professionals, travelers, and creators seeking AI-driven smart assistance in everyday tasks.
