The Pakistani rupee continued its strong performance, closing in green against the US Dollar for the 91st consecutive day on Friday. The currency gained three paisas against the US Dollar, ending at 279.77 PKR, while also posting gains against most other major currencies in the interbank market.

The rupee strengthened by 1.74 PKR against the British Pound and 1.23 PKR against the Euro, and gained 2.04 PKR against the Australian Dollar. However, it lost 14 paisas against the Canadian Dollar and ended slightly lower against the UAE Dirham, while closing in green against the Saudi Riyal. The currency’s consistent gains reflect positive market sentiment and increased stability in Pakistan’s foreign exchange market amid global and domestic economic developments.
