The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has introduced a new policy allowing candidates to request a change of examination centre under specific and exceptional circumstances. Eligible reasons include medical conditions, clashes with other exams, marriage or death of close family members, pregnancy or maternity for female candidates, natural disasters, and serious law-and-order situations.
PPSC Secretary Afzal Ahmed issued the notification following final approval from Chairman Retired Lt Gen Abdul Aziz. Candidates must submit authentic and verifiable documentation to support their requests, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The policy also permits centre changes in exceptional cases such as relocation, official transfers, or accessibility challenges for persons with special needs, provided proper proof is submitted. However, PPSC employees applying for posts will be assigned Lahore as their examination centre, and no changes will be permitted.
