WAPDA is offering a paid internship program with nationwide reach, specifically designed for fresh graduates eager to gain professional experience and build a strong portfolio. This internship aims to provide a unique opportunity for young talent to work alongside highly experienced professionals in a dynamic environment. The WAPDA internship program includes vacancies in Electrical, Electronic, and Mechanical Engineering with 16 seats available, Civil Engineering with 14 seats, Geological Engineering with 5 seats, Computer Sciences and Information Technology with 3 seats, Finance and Accounting with 5 seats, Human Resource Management with 5 seats, and Mass Communications with 2 seats, totaling 50 internship positions. The internship duration is 8 weeks (2 months) with a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000. Eligible candidates are fresh or recent graduates within the last 3 years, with a maximum age limit of 26 years and a minimum CGPA of 2.8. Applications are open exclusively for graduates.
Seat allocation includes 40% (20 seats) reserved for open quota and 60% (30 seats) for provincial quota distributed as Punjab (6 seats), Sindh (6 seats), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (6 seats), Gilgit Baltistan (3 seats), Balochistan (3 seats), Azad Kashmir (3 seats), and Ex FATA (3 seats). Required documents include all academic and educational certificates, CNIC copy, domicile copy, updated CV, two recent passport-size photos, and a police verification form for engineering disciplines only.
Applicants must meet eligibility criteria and submit their applications through the Google Form link or WAPDA’s official website by October 27, 2025. Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted. Successful completion of the internship does not guarantee employment. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews, with no TA/DA provided. Candidates must have a valid bank account under their name and submit original documents at the interview.
