Sindh Government Announces 504 Junior Clerk Vacancies Across Departments

The Government of Sindh has announced new job vacancies for the position of Junior Clerk under the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department. A total of 504 posts are available, and applications are open to eligible candidates holding a domicile of Sindh province. The recruitment aims to fill clerical positions in various departments to enhance administrative efficiency.

Applicants must be between 21 and 28 years of age, with a relaxation of up to five years as per the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree with at least second division from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. In addition, a six-month certificate course in MS Office from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education or the Trade Testing Board is mandatory.

To qualify, candidates must also have successfully passed the General Screening Test for Graduation Category, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), with at least 40 percent marks and possess the official STS certificate. Only those meeting these conditions are eligible to apply.

Applications can be submitted online through the Sindh Government Job Portal  within fifteen days of the advertisement’s publication. The selection will follow government policies under the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and subsequent amendments. Government employees applying for these posts must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department before applying.

All candidates must bring their original documents when appearing before the Departmental Selection Committee for interviews. The recruitment process will strictly follow the merit-based system, and quota rules will be observed according to Sindh Government policy. No travel or daily allowance will be provided for appearing in interviews.
