Pakistan has officially extended its airspace ban on all Indian-registered aircraft until 5:00 AM on February 24, according to a statement from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The restriction affects every aircraft owned, operated, or leased by Indian airlines, including commercial flights and military aircraft.
This continued closure of Pakistani airspace means that Indian carriers must reroute their international flights to bypass the region, potentially increasing travel time and operational costs. The move highlights ongoing tensions in civil aviation between the two countries and reinforces Pakistan’s strict control over its airspace during this period.
