The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has introduced a fully funded opportunity for doctoral studies in the United States under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project. This initiative supports Pakistani scholars in gaining admission to top-ranked institutions, fostering academic collaboration between the two countries and enhancing Pakistan’s expertise in advanced research and innovation. Candidates selected under this program will have the chance to study at universities listed among the top 300 in the QS World Rankings.

Applicants targeting institutions ranked within the top 50 are eligible for comprehensive financial support, which includes tuition coverage, a monthly living stipend, and medical insurance. For those applying to universities ranked between 51 and 300, the program offers financial assistance of up to 12,000 US dollars annually for tuition, along with a stipend and health insurance to support living and healthcare needs.

This scholarship scheme reflects HEC’s commitment to providing Pakistani students and professionals with access to international academic environments and advanced research infrastructure. By doing so, it contributes to the development of a highly skilled workforce equipped to address national challenges and support socio-economic progress.

The application deadline for candidates aiming for Spring or Summer 2026 enrollment is 15 November 2025, while those planning to begin in Fall 2026 must apply by 30 April 2026. Prospective applicants can submit their forms through the official scholarship portal at scholarship.hec.gov.pk.
