Nine-year-old Kainat from Sindh captured national attention at the 35th National Games by winning a bronze medal in the women’s 10,000-metre race. Initially disqualified for her age, she was later allowed to compete after her coach submitted a written undertaking on her behalf.
Kainat completed the race in an impressive 48 minutes and 42.70 seconds, showcasing remarkable stamina, focus, and determination. Her outstanding performance not only earned her a place on the podium but also inspired young athletes across Pakistan, highlighting extraordinary talent and courage at a very young age.
