Elon Musk has taken a major step forward in the Middle East aviation market as Emirates Airlines partners with SpaceX’s Starlink to bring high-speed, low-latency in-flight Wi-Fi to its widebody fleet. Emirates will begin activating Starlink service on its Boeing 777 aircraft this month, while its Airbus A380 fleet is scheduled to receive the upgrade starting February 2026. The airline expects to complete the full rollout by mid-2027, aiming to equip around 14 aircraft per month. The collaboration is set to transform the passenger experience by offering fast, uninterrupted internet connectivity throughout the flight — a long-standing challenge for global airlines. With this upgrade, Emirates strengthens its position as a technology-forward carrier and reinforces its commitment to delivering premium, next-generation services for international travelers.
